The members of our research group participated in a national Chemist’s Conference in Eger in June 10-12, 2024. The topic covered a wide area: synthetic organic chemistry, heterocyclic chemistry, chemistry of natural organic compounds, elemental organic chemistry, catalytic chemistry, green chemistry, selective syntheses, optically active compounds, flow chemistry, bioactive compounds, medicinal chemistry, mechanisms, theoretical and computational chemistry, analytics and spectroscopy.
Several members of our research group prepared oral presentations for the conference.
Professor Skoda-Földes gave a lecture entitled „Application of switchable polarity solvents in base-catalyzed reactions of steroids”.
In addition, Dr. Gergely Farkas presented his lecture „Application of ruthenium, iridium and manganese complexes with modular tridentate ligands in the asymmetric hydrogenation reaction of ketones”.
Our colleague, Zsófia Császár gave a lecture entitled „Application of chiral phosphine-amine-ether type ligands in ruthenium-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation reactions”.
Our PhD students also presented their latest research results in poster form:
Márk Váradi: Investigation of the production of propargylamine derivatives with a sterid skeleton
Donát Adrián Gacov: Preparation of 2-Oxazolidinone derivatives using carbon dioxide as C1 building block in an ionic liquid solvent
During the three-day conference, the participants could listen to a lot of interesting lectures and also partake in a delicious wine dinner. Eger is a famous wine-growing region, so the participants spent the dinner really pleasantly.
